Hopkinson 13 Six-Pointed Star American Flag
Bring a distinctive early-American design to your display with this Made-in-USA Hopkinson flag. Thirteen six-pointed stars set this interpretation apart from familiar five-pointed-star American flags, making it a compelling choice for historical collections, educational displays, commemorations, and patriotic flagpoles.
Made in USA, Printed to Order
This is a modern printed historical-design flag, not a sewn-appliqué reproduction or an original period artifact.
These flags are custom printed and made to order. Production time may vary. We do not offer refunds on custom printed flags.
The Six-Pointed-Star Difference
The thirteen stars represent the original thirteen states. The six-pointed star shape gives this Hopkinson-inspired design its distinctive character and offers a useful starting point for exploring the variety of early American flag interpretations. Display it as a historical-design reproduction rather than as proof of one definitive original flag layout.
Pair it with a historical presentation, use it as a conversation piece in a collection, or let its unusual star pattern stand out on your next commemorative display.
Trusted by Institutional Buyers

Available Sizes
Choose from 12x18 inch, 16x24 inch, 16x24 inch Pole Hem, 2x3, 2.5x4, 3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 6x10, 8x12 Rope and Thimble, 10x15 Rope and Thimble, 12x18 Rope and Thimble, 15x25 Rope and Thimble, and 20x30 Rope and Thimble. Dimensions are in feet unless marked inch.
Flag Sizing Guide
- 12x18 inch and 16x24 inch: Compact displays and smaller mounting setups. Select the Pole Hem option when a sleeve attachment is needed.
- 2x3 and 2.5x4: Smaller residential displays where space and clearance are limited.
- 3x5: A versatile choice for many residential flagpoles and historical presentations.
- 4x6 and 5x8: Greater visibility for larger residential and institutional settings.
- 6x10 and larger: Large-scale displays requiring a pole and hardware rated for the flag's size, weight, and local wind conditions.
Check your pole manufacturer's recommended flag size and allow enough clearance to keep the flag from striking buildings, landscaping, or nearby hardware.
Single-Sided or Double-Sided?
The listed variants are single-sided printed flags: the design reads correctly on the front and shows in reverse on the back. Double-sided construction provides a correctly oriented design on both faces but adds weight. Contact us for a double-sided quote; double-sided flags are not currently a selectable option on this page.
Construction and Display
- Made in the USA and custom printed to order.
- Printed design, not sewn-appliqué stars or stripes.
- Four rows of stitching on the fly edge, with reinforced stitching at the top and bottom.
- Standard grommet attachment on grommet-style sizes; the designated Pole Hem variant uses a sleeve.
- Sizes labeled Rope and Thimble use that attachment style.
- Ask about appliqué, fringe, or other custom finishing before ordering.
Take the flag down during severe weather and inspect attachment points regularly. Large flags and double-sided construction place additional demands on a pole and its hardware.
Want Extra Grommets?
Standard hoist grommets are included on grommet-style flags. Additional top-and-bottom attachment points can help with wall, banner, fence, railing, or supported vertical displays.
