About the Oregon State Flag
The Oregon state flag was adopted on February 26, 1925. It is one of only two US state flags that are different on each side ā the obverse features the state seal in gold on a navy blue field, with "State of Oregon" above and the year "1859" (the year of Oregon's statehood) below. The reverse features a beaver, Oregon's state animal. The navy and gold colors reflect Oregon's official state colors.
