Gadsden Nylon Flag with Pole Hem — Made in USA
Bring the historic yellow Gadsden design to your porch, office or indoor flag display. This American-made nylon flag features the coiled rattlesnake and bold “DONT TREAD ON ME” lettering, finished with a sewn pole hem that slides directly over a compatible pole.
Pole sleeve, not grommets
This version has a fabric sleeve along the hoist edge. Slide the pole through the sleeve rather than attaching the flag with grommet clips. It has no grommets and no fringe. Check your pole diameter and sleeve compatibility before ordering; contact us if you need help matching your setup.
Available sizes and printed sides
Choose 2x3, 3x5, 4x6 or 5x8 feet, each available single-sided or double-sided. All eight options use a pole-hem attachment.
- Single-sided: the standard flag format, with the design visible in reverse on the back.
- Double-sided: choose this when you want the lettering to read correctly from either side. The additional fabric makes this a heavier option, so consider your pole and bracket capacity.

A Revolutionary-era design
The Gadsden flag is associated with Christopher Gadsden and the early Continental Navy. Its yellow field, coiled rattlesnake and defiant motto became an enduring symbol of vigilance and resistance during the American Revolution. Gadsden presented a version of this standard to the South Carolina Provincial Congress in February 1776 for use by the American navy’s commander in chief, Commodore Esek Hopkins.
Gadsden served in the Continental Congress and as a brigadier general during the Revolution. The flag’s connection to that era makes it a distinctive choice for historical displays, commemorations and personal collections.
