Flag attachment style
Honor a lifetime of Coast Guard service with a Coast Guard Retired flag made in the USA. Choose a nylon flag for a retiree’s home, veterans’ organization, retirement ceremony, or commemorative display.
Commercial 3x5 or a Made-to-Order Size
The 3x5 is the commercially produced nylon flag. The 12x18 inch, 2x3, 2.5x4, and 4x6 versions are custom printed and made to order in the USA. Allow approximately two weeks for production of these custom sizes, plus shipping time. Confirm timing before ordering for a retirement ceremony or other fixed date.
All listed options have a grommet finish. These are single-sided printed flags: the design is visible on both sides, with the reverse appearing mirrored.
Trusted by Military, Embassies, Government & Institutions
We are a registered federal contractor with a CAGE code on file and accept government purchase orders. A Tribute to Coast Guard Retirees
The Coast Guard Retired design recognizes years of military service and the continuing connection between retirees and the Coast Guard community. It makes a meaningful display for veterans, families, veterans’ posts, and retirement gatherings. Review the product photo when matching an existing flag or presentation.
Flag Sizing Guide
- 12x18 inch: A compact flag for small display areas and compatible boat or short poles.
- 2x3: A smaller outdoor or indoor display where space and clearance are limited.
- 2.5x4: A popular intermediate size for home displays with less clearance than a 3x5 requires.
- 3x5: A familiar choice for residential poles, veterans’ posts, and retirement presentations.
- 4x6: A larger display for greater visibility at a business, government facility, or military installation with a suitable pole.
Sizes are in feet unless marked inch. Choose according to pole height, wind exposure, viewing distance, mounting strength, and space for the flag to fly freely. Check your pole manufacturer’s recommended flag size, especially when flying more than one flag.
Construction and Quality
- Commercial 3x5 fabric: Quick-drying 200-denier nylon with fade-resistant color.
- Custom sizes: Printed nylon, made to order in the USA. Confirm any required fabric or construction specification before ordering.
- Attachment: A header with grommets for compatible flag clips or ties.
- Origin: Made in the USA.
- Hardware: Flagpole, brackets, and mounting hardware are sold separately.
Bring the flag indoors during severe weather, keep it clear of rough surfaces, and inspect it regularly for wear.
