What “Where Legends Are Made” Means
This is a university-wide message, not only a football slogan. Alabama launched its Where Legends Are Made campaign in 2016 to connect its heritage with the achievements and ambitions of students and graduates. The campaign celebrates contributions in fields such as science, business, education, and entertainment as well as athletics.
That broader meaning makes this flag a fitting option for alumni, students, proud families, and Crimson Tide fans. Display it at a graduation celebration, welcome a future student, or bring a little of Tuscaloosa to a fan room. The script A identifies the school; the words celebrate what members of its community can become.
Slogan background: University of Alabama brand resources.
Porch, Fan-Room & Mounting Care
Display your 3x5 ft Crimson Tide flag on a compatible porch pole or as a fan-room wall feature. This is a grommeted flag, not a pole-sleeve flag. Check the available space and attachment points, and use compatible clips, snaps, or mounting rings.
Take the flag down during severe weather or damaging winds. Inspect fabric and attachment points regularly, let a wet flag dry before storage, and follow the care instructions supplied with the flag.
Want Extra Grommets?
This flag already includes two standard hoist grommets. For wall, fence, railing, or banner displays, explore extra top-and-bottom attachment points. Contact us before ordering to confirm the service, placement, pricing, and turnaround for this flag. Additional grommets are not included unless arranged.
For Fans and Organizations
We serve individual fans as well as military, government, and municipal customers. Planning an alumni gathering or an organizational display? Ask us for help with flag selection and mounting. Contact us to confirm availability and delivery timing for a specific event.
Rival-Team Flags: More Than Another Game
Alabama’s rivalries carry different stories. Choose a second team’s flag for the matchup or the people sharing your watch party—not just to fill another space on the wall.
Alabama vs. Auburn: The Iron Bowl
This is the in-state rivalry that can split a family, a neighborhood, or a living room between Roll Tide and War Eagle. Alabama and Auburn first met in Birmingham in 1893. Generations of shared history give the Iron Bowl its personal edge: the opposing fan may be your spouse, your oldest friend, or the neighbor coming over for kickoff.
Keep your Alabama slogan flag as the centerpiece and welcome the other side with the Auburn Tigers Deluxe flag. Prefer both loyalties on one flag? See the Alabama–Auburn House Divided design.
Alabama vs. Tennessee: The Third Saturday in October
Crimson and white against Tennessee orange gives this cross-state rivalry its unmistakable game-day look. The series dates to 1901, and its traditional October name has become part of the occasion itself. It has a different feel from the Iron Bowl: Tuscaloosa and Knoxville, two established football traditions, and fans who look forward to this meeting well beyond their own campuses.
Hosting Volunteers supporters? Pair your Alabama display with the Tennessee Volunteers T-Logo Deluxe flag so visiting fans can show their orange while your Crimson Tide pride stays front and center.
Alabama vs. LSU: Championship Memories
Alabama and LSU have shared stakes beyond a regular-season result. Their two meetings surrounding the 2011 season are a vivid example: LSU won 9–6 in overtime in Tuscaloosa, then Alabama won the January 2012 national-championship rematch 21–0 in New Orleans. That history gives Tide and Tigers fans plenty to discuss before the next kickoff.
For a gathering with purple-and-gold guests, add the LSU Tigers Deluxe flag.
